Terms and conditions will be further discussed when an order is placed.

 

    • A non-refundable deposit of 50%  is required to hold equipment for the date of the event. Please send E-transfer at info@cityviewtents.com . Final payment is due the day of delivery. We accept cash. 50% is non-refundable under any circumstances. If the event date is changed, we cannot promise to have all equipment available, but if we do, we will try to accommodate.
    • All rentals include equipment, delivery, setup, and teardown. A delivery fee may be assessed for deliveries outside of the 10 km radius of our head office. Lessee of lighting must provide their own extension cords.
    • For specific setup/delivery times, please call at least four days in advance. Otherwise, we will deliver as close to the assigned time as possible.
    • In the event of harsh weather or acts of God, (severe thunderstorms, tornados, high winds, etc.), please evacuate the tent and do not mess with the tent. If anything happens, please call us and we will take care of it. We reserved the right to take the tent down to prevent equipment, persons, and property from any possible harm or damage. We also reserve the right to cancel any order in the event that harsh weather doesn’t allow for setup, or will cause harm to any rented equipment, as well as persons or property. In this rare event, your deposit will be refunded in full.
    • Please have tent corners marked with stakes, sticks, or spray paint before the delivery driver arrives. It helps them speed up the process.
    • If renting side-walls, they are not allowed to be removed. We will show you how to open them up safely.
    • No staples, tags or pins can be used to attach your own things to our equipment.
    • No tape can be used on anything except for the underside of tables.
    • All obstacles in the way of setting up rented equipment need to be removed from the area, that includes tree branches that could be hazardous to the tent. We are not authorized to touch or move anything that could be in the way. If the clearing of the area takes more than 20 minutes, we will charge an extra 25$ per 30 minutes.
    • The lessee is responsible for all equipment from the point of delivery until pick-up. The lessee will also take on full responsibility and will be held liable for any damages that occur to any/all equipment. Lessees will be charged for damages, broken, lost or stolen equipment at the replacement expense.
    • Customers must report any existing damage to the rented items within 2 hours of delivery time.
    • All rented equipment must be free of materials such as food, ribbon, tape, balloon, tablecloths, etc. prior to pick up, or cleaning charge will be assessed. Chairs must also be folded and stacked on top of tables prior to pick up. If chairs are not stacked, we will charge 0.25 cents per chair and will be added in the final total.
    • Damage to lawn or property may result due to vehicle and trailer weight, as well as stakes and other necessary tools to keep the tent stabilized. If we need to drill holes for our stakes in your concrete driveway or patio, we will not fill the holes after removal. Please have sprinkler system, gas line, and water line, labeled by calling the city municipality prior to the delivery date and animal feces cleaned up prior to our arrival.
    • If canceled within 20 days of the event, 50% of all items will be charged and if canceled within 10 days of the event, 75% of all items will be charged. If truck is already loaded (trucks get loaded the night before) and any item, or whole order is canceled, there is still a 100% charge. We are promising this equipment to you and missing out on the opportunity to rent it to someone else. Our charges are non-negotiable.
    • By printing, signing, and dating the lines below, you adhere to the following terms and conditions as described above and indemnify, defend and hold City View Tents, its owners and employees harmless from and against any and all liability and costs incurred by the indemnified parties in connection with any claim arising out of any breach by you of this agreement or the harm/damage to persons and/or property caused by any/all equipment
    • Please note we only set up the tents and carpets. Tables and chairs will be placed under the tent for you to set up as pleased. If you would like us to set up the tables and chairs, separate fees will be charged ($100 for 20 x 20 setup).
